THE Englifh knights, on taking leave of the king, went to their lodgings, where they re-mained until the third day, when they returned to the palace. ' The king of Caftille was much rejoiced at their requeft ; for he faw there would "be an end of the war for a long time, when his enemies folicited leave to march peaceably through his kingdom.
