TOURING" the time the king of Caftiile lay before Lifbon, (and he had been there about a year) the town of Santaren rebelled againft him, and clofed its gates, declaring, that neither Frenchmen nor ' Spaniards fhould enter it, for the great oppreflions it had fuffered.
